WOMEN’S BUSINESS COUNCIL: INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION – TOOLKIT LAUNCH
In celebration of International Women in Engineering Day (#INWED), the Women’s Business Council’s Starting Out group in collaboration with BAE Systems, Willmott Dixon and Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) launched ‘Inspire the next generation: engaging young people in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)’. This guide for small businesses offers support for organisations interested in becoming STEM ambassadors to deliver activities to local schools and youth groups to encourage more young women and men into STEM related careers.
