dmh associates and colleagues are deeply saddened by the death of Queen Elizabeth II and pay tribute to her dedication and longstanding service. We send our deepest condolences to the Royal Family during this somber time.
Dr Deirdre Hughes was extremely fortunate to have met the Queen when she received her award of OBE in February 2012. On this special occasion, the Queen was well informed and interested in career education and careers guidance for young people and adults. Her Majesty wanted to know what more could be done to improve opportunities in local communities. We talked about the Prince’s Trust and she was clearly very proud of her son Charles, now known as King Charles III.
She is the only monarch most of us have ever know. A wonderful example of effective female leadership at the highest level. May she rest in peace!
