EDUCATION SECRETARY DAMIAN HINDS TO APPEAR BEFORE EDUCATION COMMITTEE ON WEDNESDAY 16TH JANUARY

Secretary of State for Education Damian Hinds will face questions from MPs during the Education Committee’s latest accountability session.

The Committee is likely to want to ask about issues including multi-academy trusts and accountability, school exclusions and careers advice. Members could also raise the Government’s response to recent Committee reports on higher education and apprenticeships.

The Education Secretary will be joined by the Department’s Permanent Secretary Jonathan Slater and the Committee could touch on the subject of academy finance and the Academy Sector Annual Report and Accounts.
