AI in Canadian Workforce

In partnership with the Canadian Career Development Foundation and Toronto Metropolitan University, we examined how AI is being integrated into workforce development by career practitioners.

Key Finding: A field in transitionβ€”rapid adoption coupled with profound concerns about trust, ethics, and preparedness.

All-Age Careers Frameworks

We completed two major reports in North East England:

  • Co-designed an innovative all-age careers framework for County Durham
  • Mapped provision across the North East Combined Authority region to support the Mayor's manifesto on all-age careers provision, skills and employment

London Careers Programme

In June 2024, Greater London Authority (GLA) commissioned dmh associates to conduct a mixed methods evaluation of the London Careers Programme, examining achievements against objectives, KPIs, and identifying good practice for future strategic direction.

The evaluation included rapid evidence search, surveys, interviews, focus groups, and quantitative assessment of impact and ROI led by Dr Chris Percy, Senior Associate.

Envision Partnership

dmh associates worked successfully with Envision undertaking a 3-year consultancy and impact assessment review (2022-2025) of a new skills programme 'Improving skills and post-school transitions for under-represented young people', sponsored by The Mercers' Company.

Dr Deirdre Hughes OBE delivered keynote addresses across the UK and internationally. Our free CPD webinar series continued its success, with over 35,000+ practitioners, researchers, policymakers and students worldwide participating over the last three years!

✨ Looking Ahead to 2026

The coming year promises to be equally exciting as we:

  • ⭐ Publish new findings building on our research and evidence-base portfolio
  • ⭐ Expand international partnerships to shape careers and employability policies and share best practice
  • ⭐ Champion inclusive access to learning and work, with focus on lifelong career development, those not in education, employment and/or training (NEETs), career development and wellbeing and digital technology applied within all-age careers and employability settings
